Desert Rain

Desert Rain

We are coming into the middle of monsoon season in Arizona. For those from other parts of the world, monsoon season is the wettest season in the desert. It rains in the desert and we experience tremendous thunder and lightening storms that provide earth rumbling noises and visuals. The desert comes alive in more ways than one when the rain lashes down over the cacti, mesquite trees and desert bed. Flash floods are not uncommon from the rushing water that splashes over the hardened earth finding its way to tributaries, streams and rivers of rushing water. A walk or jog in the desert after a desert rain brings a wide variety of fragrant scents and our Desert Rain Scented Candle is our attempt to bring that familiar desert scent to your home or office. Mixes of desert cactus and jade, rosemary and sage combine to replicate those familiar post monsoon scents we experience. We are always grateful for rain, but also look forward to mid-September when the hot temperatures begin to drop and our cycle of unbelievable weather returns for the fall, winter and spring.
